Enter the stimulating world of BLOOM, where you as a zookeeper face deadly waves of plant-based enemies in an engaging ARENA or a thrilling GREENHOUSE! Each level is full of action that will keep you on the edge, the game is full of colors, plants....and enemies. As the enemies increases in amount, you must than be ready with your ultimate zookeeper skills at maximum.
During this project I created the base for the wave manager. I quickly switched to audio/sfx creating and implementation for the game. 90% of the SFX is made by me.
It was a step learning curve for sure, having to learn how to work in a audio software while having 3 weeks to having them fine tuned and working, sadly we had to scrap few sfx's due to the game using a heavy metal/fast pace music that mostly overlaps over some less important sounds, but it turned out good and really enjoyed doing the sfx/audio.
This was my fourth and last game project,
we had 3 weeks and were a group of 12.
The game is completely made in C++ in UE 5.4
featuring a complete backend support to make all code connect and load at appropriate times and work flawlessly.
The Game Design Documents was already pre-made for quick and easy start, we took inspiration from Doom(the latest version) but added a twist by having it in a big greenhouse.
the game features pickup's different stages, wave system and different enemies normal, drones and bosses.
